Founded in 2016, in the twin isles of Trinidad & Tobago,
HVC Hyperion Dragon Boat Club is a passionate group of students, committed to the thrilling sport of dragon boat racing.
Our team, built on dedication, teamwork, and excellence, strives to compete at the highest levels both locally and internationally.

Regatta History

Dragon boat racing is practiced globally, with events ranging from local races to international championships. It is a team sport that involves 10 or 20 paddlers, a drummer to pace, and a steersperson. The races are held over various distances, typically 200m, 500m, and 2,000m, with teams working in unison to move their boats as swiftly as possible.Dragon boat racing's combination of tradition, teamwork, and physicality makes it unique among water sports, drawing participants for both its cultural richness and athletic challenges.The Trinidad and Tobago Dragon Boat Federation (TTDBF) is the national governing body responsible for overseeing and promoting dragon boat racing in Trinidad and Tobago. The Pan American Dragon Boat Federation (PADBF) is the governing body for dragon boat racing in the Pan American region, which includes countries in North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean.Pictured below are all the race results from HVC Hyperion Dragon Boat Club for
